Getting Started

Do you offer a trial class?

Yes. We offer a free trial class so your child can experience the studio before committing. Book yours online or give us a call.

What level is right for my child?

We place students based on age and experience. If you are unsure, reach out and we can help you find the right fit before your first class.

Is dance safe for a 2 year old?

Yes. Our Tiny Tots classes are designed specifically for ages 2 and up. All activities are age appropriate and led by experienced instructors in a safe, controlled environment.

Classes and Scheduling

How often do classes meet and how long are they?

Most classes meet once a week. Class length ranges from 45 minutes to one hour depending on the level and style.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Missed classes can be made up by attending another session. Contact the front desk to schedule a makeup.

How do I add, change, or drop a class?

Contact the front desk. All changes require written notice at least five days before the 1st of the month, which is when tuition is billed.

What is the tardiness policy?

If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, they may be asked to observe rather than participate. Dance requires a proper warmup to prevent injury, and this policy exists to protect your child.

What to Wear

What should my child wear to class?

Dance attire that allows for easy movement. Ballet students wear a leotard, tights, and ballet shoes. Jazz and acro students can wear a fitted top with dance shorts or leggings. Specific dress code details are provided at enrollment.

Is jewelry allowed in class?

No. For safety and focus, jewelry is not permitted during class.

Does my child need to change between classes if they have more than one in an evening?

No. Students can wear attire appropriate for their first class and adjust as needed between classes.

How should hair be worn?

Hair should be secured neatly for all classes to keep the focus on movement and to prevent distraction or interference.

Recital and Costumes

How does my child participate in the Spring Recital?

All students are invited to participate in the annual Spring Showcase at the Midway PAC. Details on dress rehearsals, fees, and costumes are shared as the event approaches.

What do recital fees cover?

The standard fee is $100 and covers theatre rental, tickets for unlimited guests, program printing, and a digital video download of all shows. Fees are due by April 24, 2026.

When are costume payments due?

Studio class costumes are paid in three installments: October 16, November 15, and December 16. Company class costumes are paid in two installments: October 16 and November 15. Costumes are ordered only after payment is complete. Late payments may delay delivery and we cannot guarantee costumes arrive in time for the recital.

Studio Policies and Logistics

Where do I park?

Designated parking is available near the building. If you plan to stay and observe, use the main parking lot rather than the drop off lane.

What is the drop off and pick up policy?

Students ages 5 and up should be dropped off and picked up at the door. Parents may leave, wait in the lot, or briefly observe. We encourage drop off to reduce lobby congestion and help students build independence.

What do I do if my child has a medical condition?

Please inform the director and teachers at registration and any time a condition changes. This includes medications and inhalers. All medical information is kept confidential.

What happens if weather cancels class?

We notify families via email and post updates on Instagram and Facebook in real time.

Cost

Are there additional costs beyond tuition?

Yes. Families should budget for dance shoes, required attire, and recital costumes. All costs are outlined at registration.
