Modern & Improv Classes Offered
Both a traditional and contemporary dance form that encourages artistic individualism and innovation. Modern dance developed in the early 20th century as a break from the confinements of ballet. The basic elements of dance (time, space, and energy) are explored creatively through concrete or abstract themes.

My daughter loves going to dance at Expressions!
In her own words- “When I dance I feel like I can be me. When I step out on the stage, I feel confident and strong- not wriggly. My teachers teach me to dance and then I just dance.” I am so glad she has found what makes her heart sing and that we found a studio that brings out the best side of her!

I love it ...present tense ! I can't say enough about this dance studio!
The teachers are top notch and so kind and encouraging. Their ability to teach the children and teens surpassed all I expected. And they put so much time work and thought into the recitals and competitions from the choreography to the costumes , from the wee little babes up to company. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!
