Lyrical & Contemporary Classes Offered
Expressive and fluid forms of dance that have been influenced by ballet, jazz, and modern dance. Lyrical dance is based in ballet and jazz technique, and often shows emotion by interpreting the lyrics of a song. Contemporary dance is based in modern and various fundamental styles, and original choreography may tell its own story or convey a theme. Ballet training is essential for the proper execution of lyrical and contemporary.

My daughter loves going to dance at Expressions!
In her own words- “When I dance I feel like I can be me. When I step out on the stage, I feel confident and strong- not wriggly. My teachers teach me to dance and then I just dance.” I am so glad she has found what makes her heart sing and that we found a studio that brings out the best side of her!

I love it ...present tense ! I can't say enough about this dance studio!
The teachers are top notch and so kind and encouraging. Their ability to teach the children and teens surpassed all I expected. And they put so much time work and thought into the recitals and competitions from the choreography to the costumes , from the wee little babes up to company. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!
